The retreat

We’re still riding the wave of go.slow.flo. 2.0 - a mindfulness retreat combining movement, meditation, and eco-adventure. Our second year at Live Life InTents in Margaree, Cape Breton was life-changing for many.

THE INTENTION

Our go.slow.flo concept is about finding balance between movement and slowing down in all aspects of our lives. It was an invitation to experience a more mindful life through the way we choose to connect to our internal and external environments with present moment awareness.

the experience

We provided the opportunity to work out, meditate, hike, take lots of breaks, and tube the world-famous Margaree River. We hosted mindful discussions, and time for reflection. We ate good, nutritious food, and connected with ourselves, each other, and nature.

Being a man of many ideas, a father, a partner, and a man of colour, Jonathan has been able to use life experiences to develop a strong sense of collaboration and even stronger passion for meditation. He hopes to be a leader in this field and to one day be able to provide anyone from any walk of life the space and accessibility to feel heard and at peace.
