Flo Meditation + Wellness is Halifax’s first modern meditation studio. Our mission is to build a happier, healthier, and more connected society through mindfulness and meditation. We believe that meditation and its benefits should be accessible to everyone, and we are happy that you are interested in bringing it into your office. Simply put, meditation is the act of training our minds. Although there are many types of meditation, we practice mindfulness meditation in our sessions and workshops. The practice is about noticing what is happening in the present moment, without judgment. The goal of mindfulness meditation is not to stop thoughts, rather encourage ourselves to be present, more compassionate and understanding.
By giving employees this opportunity as a part of wellness offerings, stress will become more manageable, anxiety more controlled, and productivity is going to increase.
We offer guided meditation of 30 or 60 minute sessions on a one-time, or monthly membership.
